So, maybe you've noticed the black outlines instead of coloured outlines? Or maybe you've noticed that the lines are not EXACTLY straight or the colours are a little off? No?
That's alright, it's only really my madness that makes them glare at me. (Please let me believe that if it is not true.) It also helps that I drew the thing GINORMOUS and then shrunk it tiny.
The reason for these (probably) unapparent changes, is that my computer (relatively) recently was attacked by a nasty virus and spent some times with the geek squad. These overpaid bastiges asked me all sorts of questions about the bloody thing. I told them it had two drives and one drive had Aaaaaaaaaaall my pictuuures and really needed to remain in tact. They said, "cool".
I have nothing. The colourchart, fonts and original pieces are all gone. All I have is what was online, deviantart and some stuff I had emailed a LONG time ago.
WORSE, yes WORSE! I do still have a wacom, that I love, and the software for it. BUT, I do not have the @#$%ing serial for the software. So, my Wacom -sort of- works. This means no smooth lines or pressure sensitivity.
Did I mention that my computer reheats after paying $500 to get the bloody thing virus free and running?!? So much hate in my heart.
To sum up. Today's comic was me relearning how to draw without my precious wacom. Luckily, Razz has a cute little tablet computer. However, comparatively to my 24 inch wacom, this little 12 inch thing is maddening. It also has no touch sensitivity which means I spend LOTS of time erasing just to smooth the ends of lines.
So... what did I learn? I refuse to quit! I wish the Geek Squad was the nerd herd. And I really miss my Wacom!! -_-;
